It is said that music, in the most general of terms, is the arrangement of sound to create some combination of form, harmony, rhythm, melody or other expressive content. Definition of music vary depending on culture, though it is an aspect of all human societies and a cultural universal.
In this exhibition ‘La Musique’, Spangsberg paints portraits of female musicians from her own imagination. Whether depicted individually with their instruments or collectively within a band or choir, the observer witnesses the seamless flow of notes and rhythm emanating from the canvas. The artworks offer a dual perspective – one may perceive them as an exploration of the art of instrumental performance, focusing on the musician, or alternatively, one can shift the lens inward, contemplating the profound impact of the harmonious union of music and art on the beholder.
This collection represents a distinctive juncture in Spangsberg’s artistic journey. The canvases resonate with a novel dimension, where the surfaces of paint intertwine, marking a new refreshing facet to Spangsberg’s artistic expression.
GENERAL INFORMATION
All artworks are unique, original pieces individually hand-painted by Spangsberg. Each artwork will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, attesting to its originality and uniqueness. The certificate will be signed and dated by the artist.
Furthermore, all artworks will be offered for sale with a professionally crafted oak frame, featuring anti-reflective museum glass. It is important to note that the acquisition of an artwork excludes the option to purchase it without the accompanying frame, and the removal of the artwork from its frame for shipping is not a viable option.
SALES INFORMATION
To acquire an artwork, please initiate the process by selecting “Request” and send an email including shipping details and title of the desired artwork or artworks.
The sale of all artworks will strictly follow to the “first come, first served” principle, where the chronological order of email receipt establishes the priority for purchasing the requested art piece. In cases where multiple prospective buyers express interest in the same artwork, a buyers list will be compiled to facilitate a structured allocation process.
All payments are subject to a notification period of 5 business days. Please be advised that if the payment is not received within the specified payment terms, we reserve the right to offer the artwork to the next potential buyer on the list. Additionally, it is possibly to submit requests for multiple artworks at the same time.
Shipping costs, covering all handling fees, wooden box packaging, insurance, delivery to curbside, and the provision of all necessary documentation, are not included in the listed price but will be added to your invoice.
For purchases within the European Union (EU), a 5% Value Added Tax (VAT) will be applied to all transactions.
The dispatch of artworks will commence upon receipt of full payment, inclusive of the applicable VAT and shipping costs.
SHIPPING INFORMATION
Shipping costs are not included in the listed price; however, they will be added on your invoice. The shipping fee encompasses all associated handling charges, wooden box packaging, insurance, delivery to curbside, and the provision of all requisite documentation.
It is important to note that any potential local customs duties or handling fees are excluded from the required shipping price.
